Submission of Business
We can only accept business via EDI unless an unavoidable situation arises. In these circumstances you should contact the E-Commerce department for advice.
Frequency of Transmission
All new business, mid term adjustments, cancellations, renewals and lapses must be transmitted daily as insurers need to adhere to strict timescales for data transmission in order to comply with MIIC requirements.
Documentation
We require you to retain all statement of fact, a copy of the original quotation, proof of NCD, copy licences and any other relevant documentation for a minimum of 2 years after the policy has been cancelled or lapsed. Documentation may be stored electronically and must be held in accordance with current legislation.
Authorisation codes
If you require an authorisation code for any form of override please contact the Underwriting Department.
NCB Proof
If you need proof of no claims bonus please call 0330 024 4696 and then choose option 5 for ‘Policy Operations department’, followed by option 3 for ‘Proof of No Claims Bonus’. You will then be able to leave a voicemail message and the no claims bonus proof will be sent out the next working day.
Renewal Premium
– If the renewal date is outside of 30 days no renewal notice will have been issued yet as Sabre send these out 30 days in advance.
– If you have checked whether the EDI renewal invitation has been received and it hasn’t yet arrived (and the renewal date is within 30 days) then you will need to contact the Policy Operations team at Sabre.

Renewal Exception Report
This report should be checked on your software system on a daily basis. It will list any policies where your system cannot load the electronic renewal invite, the policy details with the reason for rejection will be shown on this report. Please email a copy of this report to E-Commerce who will investigate and resend the invite if necessary.
